We have assisted a Somali national in her application for indefinite leave to remain.  She was granted refugee status and her children were born in the UK after she was granted that status.  The children are dependent minors and therefore we argued that they should be granted indefinite leave to remain in line with their mother.  She has completed the probationary period of five years limited leave to remain and we argued that she still required protection and therefore should qualify for settlement.  We relied on country information in relation to Somalia and the application was successful.
