Tier 4 changes came into effect on 6th April 2019. The Home Office introduced Appendix X which includes “low risk” nationalities. Nationals listed within this Appendix can provide a lesser degree of documentary evidence in Tier 4 applications. Students will also be able to use loans provided by financial institutions in order to meet the maintenance requirements. Tier 4 child students will be able to rely on funds that will be provided to them by foster carers or close relatives. Leave granted under Tier 4 to students who are under 18 will not be included in the study limits calculations
