We have made an application for an Albanian national to remain in the UK having completed 60 months limited leave to remain as a spouse of a British national. Initially the applicant made an application in country to switch from a post-study work visa for leave to remain as a spouse of a British citizen.  She made an application for extension of leave as a spouse and instructed us to make an application for indefinite leave to remain.  This application was successful. The couple have been cohabiting throughout the 60 months. The financial requirements were satisfied and although they had children the applicant did not apply with any dependent children as the children were born British.
